Frequently Asked Questions

Is StrikeRadar affiliated with any government or military organization?

No. StrikeRadar is an independent project with no affiliation to any government, military, or intelligence agency. All data comes from publicly available sources.

How accurate are the risk scores?

The risk scores are algorithmic aggregations of public data, not intelligence assessments. They are designed to provide situational awareness by combining multiple signals, but they cannot predict specific military actions. See our Methodology page for full details on how scores are calculated and their limitations.

How often is the data updated?

The data pipeline runs every 30 minutes, fetching fresh data from all eight sources. The timestamp on the dashboard shows when the last update occurred.

Can I use StrikeRadar data in my research or reporting?

Yes. You may reference StrikeRadar's publicly displayed data with appropriate attribution. For in-depth use or quotes, please reach out through LinkedIn so we can provide additional context about the methodology.

I have an idea for a new signal source. How do I suggest it?

We love hearing new ideas. You can use the "What's the next StrikeRadar?" suggestion box on the main dashboard, or send a detailed message through LinkedIn.

Can I support the project financially?

Yes. StrikeRadar is a free service with ongoing server and API costs. You can support development by buying us a coffee.
